This month, the Philippine Tourism Weekend celebration was held in London, United Kingdom as part of the global efforts of the Department of Tourism to drive more tourists into visiting the country. The event was held at the Pottes Fields Park, backdropped by the iconic London Tower Bridge.
A showcase of all the best of the Philippines happened: big prints of the country’s best destinations, and even virtual reality experiences to make guests feel as if they are really there. Filipino food (dirty ice cream!), traditional dances, and martial arts, too.
