LOOK: Netizen reminsces Masinag road full of trees prior to LRT project

With the current metro rail and light rail tracks and stations currently being built, a lot of trees are being cut to make room for posts for the platforms. It’s inevitable not to miss the old scenery we look at when we drive by the roads where future trains will be on above us in the future.

Twitter user Andrea Kay Ocampo took it to her Twitter account how Masinag, Antipolo used to look like before construction began.

Traffic tends to build up around the areas where future MRT’s or LRT’s will stand, and Ocampo could not help but reminisce the old view of Masinag prior to the train projects.

Just like the Narra trees removed in Commonwealth to pave way for the MRT7 Project last May, Masinag’s middle road is now “treeless”.

According to Ocampo, the photos were taken last June, July and November of 2015.

The photos were taken from an overpass near SM Masinag,” she tells WHEN IN MANILA. “I’ve always loved taking pictures of the sky. I love how it complements with trees and car lights, especially during dusk time.”
