LOOK Madonna's Costume Dresser Shares How Madonna Felt About Manila Concert

Despite controversies, Madonna’s two-day Manila concert was a resounding success, with both shows selling out and Madonna fans all over the country happy to have seen the Queen of Pop for her first visit to the country.

It turns out, even Madonna is happy with her visit.

Madonna Philippines’ Facebook page shared a short conversation with Tony Villanueva, Madonna’s official costume dresser.

A member of MP asked Villanueva, “Hi, Tony! Can you confirm how happy Madonna was during her Manila performances? I was on both shows and I can see her face beaming. She even brought back the ’80’s medley.”

The ’80s medley is a part of the concert where Madonna mashed up the songs “Dress You Up,” “Into the Groove,” “Everybody,” and “Lucky Star.” It was not part of the setlist in the first day.

Villanueva replied, “She sang ‘Crazy For You’! She was very happy!”

“Crazy For You” is an off-the-setlist song, part of when she would ask the audience for requests. On the first day, she sang “Like a Prayer.” “Crazy For You” is one of the favorite songs to sing in karaokes in the Philippines.

Madonna said that she has not sung that song on stage in 30 years, but she sang it in the Re-Invention World Tour in 2004.
