Good souls really are still out there.
And that is what Eman De Castro learned, when one night during his commute, he got on this jeepney where he said the driver was wearing a microphone, announcing things. He said at first he thought it was a bit weird. Eman said the driver kept asking questions to passengers. But when he figured out what was happening, ultimately felt happy and blessed.
Here is Eman’s story, as written in a post he shared over Facebook:
“Pagsakay ko ng jeep ngayon lang, naweirdohan ako sa driver. May mic sya, tapos nag aannounce sya ng kung ano. Ang weird. Maya-maya, nagsabi sya na Ibabalik nya ang pamasahe namin kapag nasagot namin ang tanong nya. Nakakatuwa si manong, andami nyang tanong, kaso isang beses lang pwede sumagot kapag nakakuha ka na ng isang tamang sagot. Nagtanong sya about bible. Sa unang tanong nya, ako agad ang sumagot. Eh hindi pa ako nakakapagbayad, kaya ang ginawa nya hindi nya na ako pinagbayad.
Nakakatuwa talaga sya, nakaka-bless si manong driver. Tapos after nya magtanong, nagpreach sya habang nagdadrive.
God bless you, manong driver.”
