After de-cluttering the famous Plaza Roma (where the Manila Cathedral stands!) of the eye sore that were electrical and phone lines, the Intramuros Administration just released their new plans for the next phase of Calle Aduana’s rehabilitation: turning the popular landmark into a bicycle and pedestrian-friendly area, and it looks fabulous!

The plans were released on the official Facebook page of the Intramuros Administration.

According to the post, part of the rehabilitation will entail burying the cables and removing the poles crowding the street. The new project will definitely make Calle Aduana a feast for the eyes and a delight for walking! We’re hoping the administration carries this rehabilitation out to the rest of Intramuros.

What do you think of this? Been to Intramuros lately?
