Finally, Miss Bulgaria’s blue gown, which she gave to a Filipina teenager, made it to prom.
Miss Bulgaria Violina Ancheva gave her gown to 15-year-old Zhyra Nicole Cifra after wearing it during the Miss Universe beauty pageant held in the country last January. On Friday, Zhyra wore the gown to her prom.
Violina shared this story on her Facebook page. She said, “Today is a big day for me! It’s Zhyra’s prom — the beautiful Filipina that was chosen to wear the dress I was wearing on Miss Universe pageant! I am so excited! Good luck, Zhyra! Bulgaria loves Philippines.”
She attached a side by side photo where she wore the gown at the pageant and Zhyra at the prom.
The photo received more than 15K reactions already.
As we may recall, Miss Bulgaria scouted to whom she can give the gown after the Miss Universe beauty pageant. After getting many responses, she picked Zhyra and gave the gown to her single mom, Issay Gallano.
