This artist is taking “attention to detail” to a whole new level.
Experimental artist Salavat Fidai, as he describes himself on his website, has mastered the art of carving on the tiny, narrow lead pencil tips we only thought to write with. The Russia-based artist carves just about anything that inspires him—from the world’s most loved landmarks, to items, logos, and even characters from fairytale books. To make sure he gets his details perfect, Fidai carves these beautiful masterpieces under a magnifying glass.
