Anne Curtis is definitely on a roll. After exchanging tweets with Park Bo Gum and getting birthday surprises from both Blackpink and Dua Lipa, the actress and host has a new run-in with an international celebrity: she recently bought a bow belonging to Audrey Hepburn and wore it to the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards night.

Curtis bought the Givenchy bow from the British auction house Christie’s. She shared some photos via Instagram Stories, with the captions, “Thinking of what to wear for tonight’s FAMAS Awards. It is, after all, a special occasion” and “My love Audrey Hepburn wore and owned this pretty bow.”

Hepburn is one of the world’s most legendary actresses, starring in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Roman Holiday, Sabrina, Funny Face, My Fair Lady, and more.

Curtis wore the actress’ bow to the FAMAS Awards night, where she was the first-ever female recipient of the FPJ Memorial Award for her film BuyBust.

Curtis shared her thanks in an Instagram post:

Last night I was given an honour so overwhelming that I fumbled for my words the moment I got on stage. So please allow me to put down in words what I really wanted to say. It was a very special night and I would like to thank the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Science for giving me the recognition and as the FIRST FEMALE recipient of the FPJ Memorial Award. Just as “Da King” led the way to make a mark in the industry with his action films I was given the opportunity to do the action film BUYBUST that had a strong female lead.. in fact, last year I did 3 films, all of different genres with very strong female leads. This goes to show it is an amazing and exciting time in the industry where females can take on the part as strong leads of any film, of any genre. Thank you to all the directors and film companies that continue to have faith in us, filipina actresses. Thank to my Viva Family, Boss Vic, Ate Vr and Boss Vincent for allowing me to continue to grow as an actress and giving me films that continue to challenge me in my craft. As I’m pushing forward to my 22nd year in the industry, I dedicate this to my mum, who has always been supportive and the wind beneath my wings, I am in fact living out her dream to be an actress. My parents and family who continue to support me.
My husband who understands my crazy schedule and sometimes not seeing me for a month. I love you all very much. I also dedicate this to the filipino youth who continue to have high hopes and work hard to pursue their dreams. Mabuhay ang Pelikulang Pilipino. I pray that there will be many more films with kick-ass strong female leads. Thank you again FAMAS! And thank you to the Poe Family for allowing a female to receive this award this year. I truly appreciate it and I am very, very grateful! To God Be ALL the Glory.

Congratulations, Anne!
