LOOK: ‘16,000 Blossoms’ Attraction Blooms in Leyte

In Leyte’s Baybay City, 16,000 LED roses bloom to serve as the city latest tourist attraction.

The amazing field of LED flowers is situated on top of a hill overlooking Camotes Sea.

The attraction was launched on June 14. The 16,000 red and white LED roses spell out “I [heart] Baybay.”

It is an Instagrammable place. During the day, people can go there to take unlimited selfies of the rose field and the meadows of Lintaon Peak. During the night, the field lights up and it looks surreal.

According to Discover Baybay City’s Facebook post:

16,000 Blossoms “is part of Baybay’s tourism development plan. A giant statue of the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, about 8-stories tall, will soon be built on the site… Lintaon Peak is eyed to be a pilgrimage site in the region, considering that it’s just few meters away from Saint Anthony de Padua Parish in the village of Pomponan, one of Eastern Visayas’ favorite destinations for pilgrims.”
