The UP Diliman University Freshie Council (UFC) warmly welcomes the new batch of Freshies with Live UP: Culmination Night.
The UFC is the highest representative body of all students in UP Diliman in their first year of undergraduate studies. Composed of over 60 councilors and associates from 18 different colleges, the university-wide Council is united in its common vision to serve the entire Freshie community. In order to facilitate the holistic development of all first-year students, UFC hosts myriad social campaigns, events, student services, amongst other projects.
This year, the UFC worked closely with the University Student Council (USC), UP Advertising Core (UP AdCore), and the Office of the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs (OVCSA) to present the University Freshie Month (UFM). In this month-long event, Freshies are encouraged to be “Up For More”— to take advantage of the opportunities the premier state university has to offer. Thus, UFM is jam-packed with various campus tours, organizational fairs, seminars, and other exciting activities, designed to help these students discover what it means to be a true Iskolar Ng Bayan.
To cap off the entire UFM, the UFC is inviting everyone to Live UP: Culmination Night on August 31, 2017 (Thursday) from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM at the School of Economics Auditorium.
An evening of fun and festivities, Live UP: Culmination Night features a live concert with freshman performers and well-renowned OPM bands, numerous food booths, exciting game stations, among others. Catch Callalily, SUD, Silent Sanctuary, and other bands, as they perform their most beloved songs on campus. Taste only the best gastronomic delights, care of our food concessionaires. Stand a chance to win exciting prizes and freebies as well!
On its 5th year, Live UP: Culmination Night promises to be nothing short of an extravagant and exhilarating celebration of the Freshie experience.
