The United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary- UPD Chapter, in partnership with Henry’s Professional, is currently holding one of their flagship events Litratektura: An Architectural Photography Competition.
Litratektura is an annual photography competition that is inspired by two Filipino words: litrato and arkitektura. It aspires to showcase the hidden beauty of architectural structures in the Philippines by capturing and immortalizing them in photographs.
Now in its third year, Litratektura takes on the theme “Saan Ka Lulugar? Architecture Beyond Walls?” which seeks to bring to life through the lens, the relationship of structure and people.
It serves as a reminder that architecture is not merely a piece of decorated mass, but is also a piece of human celebration, a space where people converge and make history, a space for the mundane routine and everyday life.
Registration period ended last April 2,2017.
EXHIBIT DATES:
April 25 to April 27 – Exhibit at UP Diliman Campus
April 28 – Exhibit at SMX Convention
May 2- May 5 – Exhibit at the UP College of Architecture
Awarding Ceremony will be held at the UP College of Engineering Theater on May 6, 2017.
