LG Phones: LG G3 Proves that Smartphones Don’t Need to be Complicated

I know a lot of people who are scared to buy smartphones or switching to new brands of smartphones after having got to used to the phones that they already have. It doesn’t help that smartphones usually come with hefty price tags that tend to scare consumers away. Some questions that people ask when it comes to this include, “What if I buy this expensive phone and end up hating it?”, “What if I have trouble figuring this new phone out?” and “What if me and insert-smartphone-brand-here aren’t a good mix in the end?”

I admit that I ask myself this question every time I lose a phone, break a phone or just want a new phone, in general. At the LG G3 launch earlier this week, however, all I could think was “I should have looked into LG phones ages ago.”

Two of my good friends have actually been using LG phones for a long time but they were never able to sway me because I didn’t know much about LG phones, in general. Now that I have been fully brief about the LG G3 phone, though, I cannot wait to get my hands on one next week!

The LG G3 is the successor of the LG G2, which was hailed as the “Best Smartphone 2013”, “Smartphone of the Year” and “New King of Android” by numerous tech pundits in the country and in the world. I am stoked that it has now arrived in the Philippines and that it looks to be even better than LG’s superstar of last year!

The key message of the LG G3 is simple: Simple is the New Smart and it definitely proves to be both simple and smart.

Regional Head of Qualcomm Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines, Mantosh Malhotra, commended the powerful hardware of the phone, which sports a 2.5GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. It also has amazing camera offerings and unparalleled video and display capabilities. Aside from that, it has a sleek metallic body, making it as lightweight, as convenient and as portable as possible.

Generally speaking the LG G3 is incredibly easy to use. The display is simple, the features are easy to figure out and the screen is so big, you’ll have so much fun making use of its different apps and features overall.

Other key features include:

A Smart Keyboard with Keyboard Customization that intuitively adapts to your typing skills and Word Edit for easy and quick correction

Smart Security that provides various improved security features, like the LG’s signature Knock Code that you can use to unlock your phone by tapping your personalized code onto the screen; the Content Lock that can keep certain files hidden from video whenever other people use your phone; and the Kill Switch that can remotely disable your phone if it gets stolen.

It also has awesome selfie features. :p For example, you can set your phone far away from you, and just raise your hand and make a fist when you’re ready to use a photo to take it.

With so many innovative features up its sleeve, it really isn’t any wonder why the launch was graced by various prominent personalities who support the LG G3, along with its brand ambassadors Maxene Magalona, Kiefer Ravena and Thomas Torres.
