According to Jeng Alvarez:

Please Share.

Rough translation:

Please spread this. He is Mr. Fortunato Mendoza of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. He went to Manila to try his luck and for his family’s future. I saw him along Balete Drive in Brgy. Mariana, Quezon City. I thought this only happens in social media but now I know it’s true. He suffered from stroke due to his age and he is wandering the streets. I’m not sure how I can help him but maybe through Facebook, this reaches his family. I hope we can help him so he can go home, that’s all he wants. He owns nothing except those given to him by kind-hearted strangers. Even his wallet where the cellphone number of his family was take by hold-upers. Please let’s help him. If this happened to your father, you won’t have peace of mind for sure so let’s think what it feels to lose a father. I hope we cooperate because it’s really hard to lose a family member especially a father. Thank you. Please share.

As of now, we are trying to find other information on how we can reach Mr. Mendoza. If anyone knows more information, please share them with us. Also, if any of you recognizes him and knows his family, please inform them about this.

Thank you.

Let’s keep spreading the word and let’s bring tatay home.
