This may look simple, but the salmon and nuts in it made it heavy. It was my first appetizer, but I already felt full afterwards! Of course, I needed to make room for more good food to come.

Lamb Lasagna

I enjoyed this unique lasagna. Very different from the usual lasagnas out there!

Le Jardin 19 - palate cleanser - lemon sorbet with basil and orange zest

Before we had our main dish, we cleansed our palate with lemon sorbet with basil and orange zest.

Le Jardin 40 - Coq Au vin

Coq Au vin

I had the Coq Au vin because I’m a big fan of chicken. What’s nice about this dish is that you can really taste the taste of native chicken that is raised in Abra!

Cheese course

The team of Le Jardin makes their own cheese (how cool is that?). They call their cheese “Gil’s Cheese” taken from their master chef from Vietnam because they don’t really know what it is. They just age and mix the cheese in different ingredients to  create various types. Some of what we had tasted are the ones with ash and rosemary, among others. Your every visit will assure you of a different cheese type, so that’s one to look forward to!

Dessert de Gils

Also taken from Chef Gil, this is his favorite dessert, which he made out of the blue. One day, he just decided to mix every ingredient he loves and, tadah! This dessert is cool and sweet. A must-try!

They have an amazing line up of wines to choose from, too!

Le Jardin 10

It was a truly amazing night, and this was one of those dinners that I will always remember. Le Jardin definitely captured what they want to give to their customers: to make their guests remember the experience that they had.

Le Jardin 12

Prices are P2,200 for the 3-course meal, P2,800 for 4-course and P3,200 for the 5-course set. It’s quite surprising because I believe that though the servings may look simple, it will really fill you up (even the appetizers alone). The best part is that they bring the flavors out of every dish, giving you only the best that Le Jardin has to offer. They train their staff by tasting with their ‘senses.’ If you wanna know their secret, their staff will be more than willing to tell their tale.
