Two of Megaworld’s newest township developments ArcoVia City and Alabang West will soon be home to Landers Superstore.
Southeastasia Retail, Inc., the company behind the fast-growing membership grocery retailer, has signed up an agreement with Megaworld and its subsidiary, Global-Estate Resorts, Inc. (GERI) to open up stores at the 12.3-hectare ArcoVia City along C-5 Road in Pasig City and at the 62-hectare Alabang West in Las Pinas City.
“We are happy to welcome Landers Superstore to our townships. With Landers Superstore, we are bringing world-class one-stop shopping and convenience closer to our township residents, workers and customers,” says Kevin L. Tan, senior vice president and head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
Offering premium membership shopping, Landers Superstore has become a go-to destination for imported and local products including basic grocery items, electronics, apparel, health and beauty products and home items. Apart from shopping, the superstore also offers dining, grooming and fuel products and services.
Landers Superstore has two types of memberships: premium membership for individuals and for personal use and business membership for sole proprietorships, corporations, partnerships, cooperatives and non-profit organizations.
Present during the official contract signing held at the Eastwood Richmonde Hotel in Eastwood City were Megaworld senior vice president and head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls Kevin Tan, Megaworld vice president for controllership Joey Villafuerte, Global Estate Resorts, Inc. president Monica T. Salomon, Southeast Asia Retail Inc. chairman Atty. Lowell Yu and Southeast Asia Retail Inc. president Gwen Lourdes Lim.
