Lady Gaga’s Sound Of Music Performance At The 87th Oscars Is Breathtaking

Lady Gaga Sound of Music Oscars

All we can say is… WOW!

We don’t know about you, but we were blown away by this number!

For the 87th Academy Awards, Lady Gaga traded in the outrageous outfits for a classic, floor-sweeping gown as she slayed her Sound of Music performance, a tribute to the legend Julie Andrews, who played the nun-turned-governess who takes care of the seven children of a Navy captain in the iconic musical film.

The 4-minute performance consisted of a medley of some of the Sound of Music’s best-loved songs such as Sound of Music, My Favorite Things, Edelweiss, and Climb Every Mountain.

Her crystal-clear and tone-perfect performance was met by a standing ovation in the entire theater… and a warm hug from none other than Julie Andrews herself!
