Kris Aquino’s “How Beautiful” Statement Shirt Parodied By Juana Change
Just last Tuesday, activist and performer “Juana Change”, whose real name is Mae Paner, was seen wearing a statement shirt, saying: “How beautiful it is to be enraged when everyone begs you to be silent” at a gathering for the fallen 44 Special Armed Forces members, throwing some shade at Kris Aquino.
This was after the presidential sister was spotted wearing the statement shirt “How beautiful it is to stay silent when everyone expects you to be enraged” during an episode of Kris’ show “Aquino and Abunda Tonight”, a few days after the President came under fire for his absence at the arrival honors for the fallen 44 SAF members last January 29,
Before this, Kris was on fire last weekend fending off criticisms online, when the President and the Aquino family were nowhere to be found at the arrival honors, even unfollowing certain celebrity friends on Instagram such as Judy Ann Santos and Ogie Alcasid.
Some netizens found the shirt by Juana Change as something that perfectly reflected their sentiments on the issue, while some were also quick to defend the President’s actions.
