The Queen of All Media is definitely broadening her horizons, this time to glitzy Hollywood!
Kris Aquino has long been rumored to be a cast member of the upcoming movie “Crazy Rich Asians”, an adaptation of the best-selling book by Kevin Kwan. And although the TV mogul has confirmed going through auditions in the past, talk of her participation in the Asian-starred-and-directed film had stalled after her name was not on the official cast list, which had us all wondering what happened to her involvement in the project.
Yesterday, however, without explicitly giving anything away, Kris posted a photo of her finally signing a Hollywood contract on her Instagram!
Posting in mostly Filipino in commemoration of Philippine Independence Day, the host said:
Sa Araw ng ating Kalayaan, nilagdaan ko na ang kasunduan para sa proyektong katuparan ng pangarap na maging bahagi ng isang “major Hollywood movie” (pasensya na po, ang hirap hanapan ng Filipino translation)… ????????
All the best to her and we can’t wait to find out which film she’s part of!
