Multimedia star Kris Aquino may have just dropped the biggest hint yet that she is part of the upcoming all-Asian film Crazy Rich Asians, amid seesawing reports about her involvement in the film!
Kris is one high-profile celeb in the Philippines, but she showed that she’s like the rest of us when it comes to her favorite TV actors after she shared a snap of her and Crazy Rich Asians lead Constance Wu, who also stars in the hit comedy Fresh Off The Boat. Constance is currently in Singapore shooting the movie, directed by Jon M. Chu.
While the photo could have been an innocuous moment of Kris and Constance being in the same place at the same time, could this also be a snap of two actual co-stars?
Earlier this year, there were reports of Kris joining Crazy Rich Asians playing a Malaysian princess, yet her name was not included on the list of the official cast. On Independence Day, however, Kris posted a snap on her Instagram account, announcing that she signed a Hollywood contract, but kept mum on the project.
Two days ago, Kris posted a photo of her at the airport en route to Singapore, with a very telling caption:
