Keri Russell receives star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Actress Keri Russell was honored on Tuesday as she was granted a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The 41-year-old actress is best known for her role as a ruthless KGB operative in the series “The Americans.”

“The Americans” has been on the air for five years, spanning five seasons since 2013.

Keri Russell received the 2,613th star on the famous sidewalk.

According to her, she was awestruck to receive the star alongside stars such as Judy Garland and Marlon Brando.

“It’s such an incredible, iconic moment,” she said.

Russell first garnered attention for her title role in the hit television series “Felicity,” winning a Golden Globe Award in 1999.

She was nominated last year as well for her role in “The Americans,” set in the 1980s about a husband-and-wife team of undercover Soviet operatives in the United States.
