The ongoing Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is a relentless one that doesn’t discriminate, and many have been tested positive— all thanks to the increasing capacity of testing centers and testing kits available.
Following the news of Senators Koko Pimentel and Juan Miguel Zubiri, Senator Sonny Angara announced just today on March 26 that he too was found positive. He is the third Senator to have contracted the disease.
According to Angara, he took the test on March 16 and has remained in quarantine since then. He added that experienced mild fever, cough, headaches, and overall weakness while in isolation.
Since early March, several Senators have been on self-quarantine after learning that a resource speaker at a committee hearing has been tested positive for COVID-19.
