Anyone around the world can join (as long as they have a valid passport and visa to travel to the Philippines in early 2016). The contest aims to search for the Chosen Juan who will be tasked to journey around the Philippines for 80 days, all expenses paid. He will discover the different wonders the Philippines has to offer, whether old or new, and share their experiences with the world.
The Chosen Juan will win up to PHP 2.5 million worth of prizes, including a laptop, a GoPro, miscellaneous travel necessities, and more. All successful entries will also receive a free GetGo card, the loyalty rewards program of Cebu Pacific that cardholders can use to stack up points whenever they fly with the airline or through GetGo’s partner banks and merchants. These points can be used to get free flights in any destination of Cebu Pacific.

Let us know your answer to the question “Why should you be the Chosen Juan?” in just 300 characters or less. You also have to make a 1-minute video answering the same question. Once you’ve done that, you are one step closer to becoming the Chosen Juan.
Deadline for submissions is extended to December 15, 2015 to accommodate the volume of entries being submitted. The Juanderlust team will also be holding on-ground events on November 5-7 during the 44th Young Hotelier’s Exposition in DLSU-CSB; the UP Cookout 2015 in UP Cebu on November 13; and Hybrid: Over Ecstacy at the Manila Ocean Park Liquid Pool and Lounge on November 21.
