SM Supermalls joined hands with Chevrolet to present to us Chevrolet’s well-loved and iconic cars. Together, the two industry trailblazers indulged shoppers with a delightful and interactive experience that captured Chevrolet’s rich automotive heritage – transforming the Atrium of the SM Mall of Asia into “Chevy Central.”

“We wanted to create events and activations with these partners that will create a differentiated experience for our customers. Every month until December, our customers can expect something fun and unique. This month we are very fortunate to do this with Chevrolet,” said SM Supermalls’ Senior Vice President for Marketing Joaquin San Agustin.

In Spark, you can experience Virtual Reality. And in Sail, it has built-in wireless microphone so you can sing car-a-oke while having your roadtrip.

Alongside these cars are their two iconic cars, Chevrolet Corvette modeled by their own Madonna and the famous Chevrolet Camaro, also known as the “Transformers” movie Bumblebee. They even have their own Bumblebee for photo opportunities with kids. Fathers and kids were also entertained by guest performers and fun games and raffle.

“It’s always a great venue to have our products be displayed. So we think that a lot of the SM Malls are strategically located, they’re also in close proximity with a lot of our dealers –we have 24 dealers nationwide. So naturally SM has more branches. And nagkakataon kung saan may SM, mayroon din kaming dealers doon. So instead to wait for our clients to go to our showrooms, we make ourselves present in a nearby SM,” Buena said.

SM Supermalls launched the ‘Home of Global Brands’ campaign that invites customers and their families to experience of world through top international brands, allowing mall-goers to enjoy product launches, activations, promotions, and fun events from May to December of this year.

At the start of Father’s day weekend, fathers, kids, and customers were welcomed by new and exciting family-fun activities at the mall’s Atrium.

“For six years, in our own little ways, we’ve partnered up with SM through product placements. Madalas po kaming nagro-road show, so we always go to SM malls to display our cars,” said Chevrolet Philippines’ Senior Vice President for Marketing Lyn Buena.

They showcased their six newest vehicles and two of their most iconic car models.

Chevrolet presented their newest vehicles like Chevrolet Trailblazer, the Mighty Trailblazer, the Colorado, their Spark and newcomer the Sail. Unique activities were prepared for mallgoers and shoppers alike.
