After their successful Metro Manila Film Fest entry “Vince & Kath & James” last year, Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto are back on the big screen. This time, they’re partnering with director Antoinette Jadaone who was behind rom-com hits That Thing Called Tadhana, The Breakup Playlist, Walang Forever, and English Only Please.

Joshua, Julia, and Antoinette graced the red carpet premiere night of their movie “Love You To The Stars and Back” at SM Megamall. Joshlia fans were also there to support the love team. Julia’s mom and siblings were present at the event, as well as her dad, Dennis Padilla. Other celebrities such as Erich Ganzales, Enchong Dee, and Iza Calzado were also present.
JoshLia arrived together and welcomed everyone to their movie premiere. They gamely took pictures with their fans who were squealing with kilig when they saw the two.
Love You To The Stars and Back is a rom-com movie about a boy with cancer who joins a girl who believes in aliens, in a road trip of a lifetime. And, of course, finding love along the way. The movie promises out-of-this-world kilig especially since the the love team, which was dubbed as this generation’s Rico Yan and Claudine Barretto, has great chemistry.
