And this is exactly the theme of Hue Cafe! Owned by Jay Isais and MJ Isais, the cafe is a new hangout  in Maginhawa Street, Quezon City. What makes it a standout? The cafe specializes in pop-ups and hue coordinated treats. A first look at the cafe reveals a palette themed interior and a swatch styled menu.
If that’s not trendy enough, wait till you see their hoverboards. Isais boasts that his ‘HUEver staffs’ are the first to use hoverboards to serve customers. “Hoverboards are so ‘in’ right now. So we thought, why don’t we try to use hoverboards to serve customers? So now, we are the first cafe in the Philippines to use hoverboards,” Isais said.
Another charm of this cafe is in their color-coordinated treats. Why? The treats’ names are based on their colors, and their flavors might just surprise you. Spectra Yellow Sunflower Nachos (P165)
The nachos are crispy original Pringles potato chips. It is topped with a mixture of spiced ground beef, jalapeno, sweet corn, salsa, Japanese mayo, and cheese sauce. It is a sweet-spicy snack that is Instagram-worthy in all the right ways.
Rococco Red, Red Velvet Cake (P155)
This is your classic red velvet with an artful twist. Instead of a cake dyed in red, Isais coated it in cream cheese frosting and red chocolate shavings. One bite at this Instagram-worthy food porn unveils the cheesecake’s tangy and rich flavors. As for the toppings, its a mixture of smooth and rough ingredients. The velvety frosting contrasts with the coarseness of the red velvet cream cheese popcorn. Once you finish your dessert, enjoy the plate’s artistic glaze. This is a dense and creamy concoction of pistachio blended with cream cheese and white chocolate. The brownie has bits of different colored MnM’s with a red gummy bear at its center. In an aesthetic point of view, it blends well with the personalized mixing palette below it. The double hue is a healthy combination of Lavander Lychee Lemon and Cucumber Lime flavors. On the other hand, the single hue only includes the lavender lychee lemon, which is a mixture of lavender syrup, lemon juice and lychee bits.
