There was that crazy news about an Australian guy who accidentally dropped his iPhone 6 immediately after opening it. This time, David Rahimi of PhoneBuff is doing the same thing to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, this time on purpose.

It sounds crazy, but it’s part of his drop test to see how the new Apple gadgets will fare after being dropped.

In the video, he dropped both smartphones three ways: facing the back, sideways, and facing the front. And the results are not pretty. We’d love to describe how they fared, but we’ll let the video speak for itself. Watch the (painful) full video below:
