Hilary Duff has issued an apology, following backlash over her Halloween costume, which was considered rude by netizens.
The star showed up in a sexy pilgrim costume, who came together with her boyfriend, wearing traditional Native American headdress and face paint, channeling a Native American chief.
Netizens considered their costume choice insensitive, in light of the controversy regarding the Dakota Access Pipeline.
Hilary tweeted:
