This summer, junior and senior high school students will change the game of debate in Fast Forward 2018.

Fast Forward 2018, themed Change The Game, is a high school debate boot camp with lectures, electives, and a tournament held in the Asian Parliamentary format. It will happen on April 14-16 at the UP Diliman campus.

This year’s main lectures are Strategies in Asians Debate and Socio-Legal Debates. Elective classes that the participants will choose from include topics like Media, Sports, and Adjudication. All of which will be lectured by esteemed UPDS members and alumni.

For the first time ever, FF will be in the Asian Parliamentary format as it is changed from the British Parliamentary of all its previous editions. The adjudication core or chief judges of the tournament will be Nina Tomas, Colleen Chua, and Clarice Tee.

The boot camp is expected to be fun and competitive with a record-high of 200+ participants from across the country.

Together with Trampoline Park, Jack ‘n Jill Presto Creams and Chiz Mix, Nissin Souper Meal, and WhenInManila.com, Fast Forward 2018: Change The Game is annually hosted by the University of the Philippines Debate Society (UPDS). UPDS is the official representative of UP Diliman in all local and international debate competitions and public fora.

The battlefield is ready and everything is set. Get ready to learn and compete head to head with the other Gamechangers this April 14-16!
