What a time to be a Star Wars fan: after the intergalactic success of the first two trilogies, we were gifted with The Force Awakens in 2015, Rogue One in 2016, and The Last Jedi this year. For the true Star Wars fan, we have great news for you. You can win a trip for two to Rancho Obi-Wan, the world’s largest privately-owned Star Wars museum!
Rancho Obi-Wan is a privately-owned museum in California with over 500,000 memorabilia from the films. Fans will go crazy touring the museum, which has toys, costumes, statues, posters, and many more. There’s even a Star Wars arcade where guests can play vintage video games and pinball machines!
This once in a lifetime trip will be sponsored by Grab, who will award it to the winner of its in-app contest. Grab has partnered with the Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia and The Last Jedi for a series of fun challenges for fans.
The mission begins by choosing between The Resistance and The First Order. Once users have chosen their side, all the available vehicles will be switched to a TIE Silencer or an A-Wing. In Star Wars lore, the TIE Silencer is the starfighter of villain Kylo Ren, which he uses in the First Order’s war with the Resistance. On the other hand, the A-Wing is a starfighter used by the Rebel Alliance for reconnaissance and escort duty.
After that, they can join weekly challenges like recruiting their friends and crushing an in-app quiz. Each week, they stand a chance to win prizes like Star Wars-themed Droids and LEGO sets.
For the final battle, users must fight it out for the chance to win an all-expense paid trip to Rancho Obi-Wan, complete with a guided tour with founder Steve Sansweet, shopping money, a Star Wars-themed VIP tour of San Francisco, and many more!
