It’s not every day that a person you admire follows you back on social media.
That’s what happened to Kathryn Bernardo, as bestselling author Mitch Albom followed her back on Instagram.
It started when Bernardo posted a photo of some of Albom’s books, including The Time Keeper, The First Phone Call From Heaven, and The Five People You Meet in Heaven.

She captioned the photo with, “‘Because we embrace our scars more than our healing… We can recall the exact day we got hurt, but who remembers the day the wound was gone?’ — one of my favorite quotes from #TheNextPersonYouMeetInHeaven.”
She added, “Please do yourself a favor and make time for this book, which is a sequel ‘The Five People You Meet In Heaven.’ It got even more interesting to have found out the other side of the story—Annie’s (the little girl whom Eddie saved). Another set of learnings. Another heartfelt story.”
Bernardo ended with “@mitchalbom , you are an amazing storyteller. I am officially obsessed with your books.”

Albom soon followed her on Instagram, and she had this reaction, as shared by Alora Sasam. If our favorite author followed us back, we’d be crying and screaming. We wish we had Bernardo’s poise!
