JEFusion: Japanese Entertainment Blog presents a once in a life time chance to meet and mingle with actors Ryousuke Kaizu and Kei Shindachiya through their event Henshincon 2015 this coming March 21 and 22 2015.
Actors Kaizu, famed for his role as Michael Joe/Red Mask in the Tagalog dubbed Japanese show in the 90s Laser Squadron Maskman (Japanese Title: Hikari Sentai Maskman), and Shindachiya, famed for his role as Ken Hoshikawa from a similar show in the 90s Earth Squadron Fiveman, will hold meet and greet sessions for fans of their respective shows during Henshincon 2015.
Offering a new twist to the local Geek Culture Conventions in the Philippines, Henshincon will hold 2 events on 2 different locations. The Henshincon Launch Party will be held at One Esplanade Bldg., Seaside corner, J.W. Diokno Blvd., Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City and The Henshincon Main Event will be held at the Function Room 5 of the SMX Convention Center, Seashell Lane, Mall of Asia Complex, 1300 Pasay City, Philippines.
On March 21, 2015, The Henshincon Launch Party is a special dinner party that will be experienced by the fans as the start of the festivities of Henshincon. Activities of this party includes performances from local Japanese music artists, a Tokusatsu stage show, an auction featuring rare and signed memorabillias from the guests themselves and an autograph, handshake and photo opportunity with the guests.
And on March 22, 2015, The Henshincon Main Event is the convention where everyone, young and old, is welcome. Just like the previous day, local Japanese music performers will also showcase their talent on stage and another live Tokusatsu stage show. In line with event proper, contests will always be a part of it. So, as for Henshincon, the following contests and activities will be open for all:
• Henshin Hero Karaoke Singing Contest
• Original Henshin Hero Character Design
• Henshin Hero Cosplay Clash
• Henshin Battle of the Bands
• Diorama Contest
Aside from the contest offers, there are also places like Artist’s alley, Matsuri booths and Mechant’s corner available for everyone to explore. Also, another special appearance from veteran tokusatsu actors: Ryousuke Kaizu and Kei Shindachiya will be held. An autograph signing session will be honored to a limited number of people exclusively.

Henshincon also supports People Empowerment for ARthritis and Lupus (PEARL) an organization that supports patients with chronic debilitating ARTHRITIS (rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis) and LUPUS or systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) deserve to lead meaningful and productive lives despite their illness. The PEARL movement set up by Rheumatology Educational Trust Foundation (RETFI) aims to empower these patients and the people who care for them through various programs and activities. Part of the proceeds of the event will benefit the said organization.
