The Internet has been abuzz on Heneral Luna as of late, the latest biopic about a Filipino hero which has been showing in local cinemas and has had successful premiere screenings in the US and Middle East on National Heroes Day (August 31). Have you seen the behind-the-scenes footage and stories of Heneral Luna, though?

The Jerrold Tarog-helmed historical epic boast of an all-star cast that includes John Arcilla (as Heneral Antonio Luna), Mon Confiado (as Emilio Aguinaldo), Paulo Avelino (as Gregorio del Pilar), Mylene Dizon, Leo Martinez,  Epy Quizon (as Apolinario Mabini), Arron Villaflor, Joem Bascon, Archie Alemania, Alex Medina, Art Acuña, Bing Pimentel, Nonie Buencamino, Ketchup Eusebio, among many others.

The cast has been going around malls and schools to promote their movie and to encourage the youth to watch Heneral Luna. In partnership with DAKILA, Heneral Luna cast also went around universities and colleges nationwide to hold the Bayani Ba’ To: Heroism for Millenials school tour. The students and members of the faculty were given a 10-minute film preview, theatrical trailer and Ebe Dancel’s music video for the theme song “Hanggang Wala Nang Bukas.”
