The fandom with One Direction is so insane that when tickets to their Philippine concert were announced last May, VIP tickets worth P18,000 were sold out within two hours. Those who couldn’t buy reportedly cried and reacted violently. It looks like many Filipinos are “One Directioners,” and those who scored tickets are probably excited for the concert this weekend (a second date was added to accommodate more fans).

But one Filipino group isn’t going to welcome them with open arms. Laban ng Pamiliang Pilipino (Fight of the Filipino Family), a non-profit group headed by former drug enforcement agents, filed a court petition for a temporary restraining order against the UK boy band. According to their request, they want members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson to undergo a drug test, following reports that they did marijuana in 2014.

The group clarified that they have nothing against the boy band. According to Cherry Ching, lawyer of the anti-drug group:

We love One Direction. We are not against One Direction. I love Harry, I love Zayn, Liam, Niall, and Louis. I watch them personally on Youtube while they were auditioning for X Factor all the way through the live shows, I really really love them. Personally I would love to watch them, but the drugs–that’s the issue. So the filing of the case, the Temporary Restraining Order is specifically targeted towards the holding of the concert pending the drug test.

They do admit that they’re not confident that their request will be granted, but they’re still pushing it to spread a message on illegal drugs.
