#GoodVibes: He left his car’s rear window opened, Mall Security Guard stayed until Owner Arrived

Today, I want to focus on the positive side of the universe – where all are just chillin’ and just watching the time go by. So, for some good vibes, I found this “faith-in-humanity” type of story in Facebook. It was about a security guard who was commended by a netizen for an excellent job.

No, it’s not about James Reid! But, yeah, if he was the security guard, I would probably be speechless! 🙂

Anyway, it’s about the security guard at SM Sta.Rosa. According to Mitz’s story in Facebook, he left his car’s rear window opened, which was parked at the said mall.

Read his caption below:

Thank you sir! Naiwan ko po nakabukas ung rear window ng kotse ko sa parking ng SM Sta Rosa. Binantayan po ng guard hanggang dumating po aq sa parking. Thank again sir! (Forgot to ask for his name)

On a quick chat with Mitz, he also shared that his initial reaction when he saw the guard standing in front of his car was something had gone bad.

He said, “As I go near towards the guard, I heard him talking to his walkie talkie saying “Eto na yung driver nung sasakyan“. (The vehicle owner is already here) Then he approached me saying “Sir, bukas po ung bintana ng sasakyan nyo. Binantayan ko po, baka kasi may mawala,”

“Then he approached me saying “Sir, bukas po ung bintana ng sasakyan nyo. Binantayan ko po, baka kasi may mawala,” he added.

Security Guards in the Philippines

While we know it is their responsibility to look after the property, our security guards are indeed, jack of all trades. They could be your server, busboy, and someone who hands you ashtray at some coffee shops in Manila.

Furthermore, they hail cabs for you; they also gather supermarket carts, just to name a few!

Good job, Kuya!

Admittedly, I’ve encountered bad experiences with some security guards, as well. But, this story really restored my faith in them.

Too bad, Mitz wasn’t able to get his name. Anyway, good luck and all the best, Kuya!
