Goldsprint Kitchen and Cafe: Sprint, Eat and Drink

 

When in Manila, good food and unique ambiance is usually what people look for. Well, Goldsprint Kitchen and Cafe at White Plains, Quezon City offers exactly that. Born from the conceptual ideas of 3 partners – Albert Ginez, James Albelda and Ludwig Peralta – who all have the passion for cycling and eating, this new kitchen and cafe has been gaining local supporters for their tasteful burgers for the past 4 months now, especially the most coveted one: the Domestique Chorizo burger. 

 

 

The name of the cafe perfectly matches its decorations as there are bicycles everywhere. In fact, each corner of the cafe is designed with bicycles and artworks with a spiking personality. Customers can get involved in tournaments and events held at the cafe, as well, and the owners are projecting to set up 4 new bicycles this year.

 

According to James Albelda, the food is designed according to and inspired by their cycling experiences as friends.

 

Domestique Burger (Php170)

 

If you’re looking for something that’s a bit heavier to eat, then you need to check out their Domestique Burger, a chorizo burger infused with beef and a secret sauce – the pride of Goldsprint Kitchen and Cafe.

 

Super Record Burger (Php 190)

 

The Super Record Burger made of grilled pure beef is a delight to eat, too, though. A bit of a bite of both would be heaven for your palate.

 

Pasta LeMond (Php 220)

 

The Pasta Lemond is named after a famous American professional road cyclist, Greg LeMond, and is a great recommendation for seafood lovers. Its ingredients include shrimp, garlic and spring onion.

 

Chicken Sisig (Php 260)

The Chicken Sisig became a quick favorite of ours as it is breaded and fried to perfection. 

 

Jinakult (Php 120)

 

Of course, we couldn’t leave without tasting their special drink Jinakult, which is derived from Gin and Yakult. 

 

 

Goldsprint Kitchen and Cafe is sure to become a hotspot to hang out and have good times and laughter with friends in. You can’t ignore how friendly the people are and how great the atmosphere is inside the cafe, either. Overall, it deserves a 5 star rating.
