In my hunt for unique fandom fashion finds, I stumbled upon Geekspace PH. Their story goes like this: when a group of volleyball-playing fandom geeks decided to put a stop to redundant shirt designs, Geekspace PH was born.
During my conversation with Geekspace PH‘s owners, Ange Torres and Khryzette Onishi (their co-owner Ryan Sordan was MIA), I found out that their love for TV shows and books was the inspiration for this idea. I noticed how fond they are of Divergent, which was the initial fandom they catered to; but now they also have shirts from YA novels, Marvel, Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Maze Runner, Percy Jackson, How I Met Your Mother, Sherlock, Doctor Who, and Game of Thrones.
So now I guess you’re asking… ‘What’s different about this shop?’
Well, what I like about their shop is that (1) their designs are totally original and they tend to revamp fandom elements to make them unique; (2) they invite fellow creative geeks to work with them as designers, so they can earn a little extra; and (3) these awesome shirts are all made from quality materials and sells just around the range of Php350-450. How cool is that?!?
Usually, you can find their merch in conventions like ToyCon and Cosplay Mania, as well as in bazaars. They also ship nationwide and internationally, so no matter where you are, you can get your hands on their terrific items with ease! They also do giveaways once in a while, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
