Gaming and Burger Overload at Burger Company’s National Burger Day Celebration
Sometimes, delicious food in itself is not enough. Adventure-seeking spirits are usually always on the lookout for restaurants that offer the ultimate dining experience. After reading through this article, I assure you that you’ll be just as amazed as I am!
Not a lot of people know that May 28 is National Burger Day. This could just be the most awesome holiday ever; even the mere sound of it is getting me all giddy. 🙂 I hope the Philippines would celebrate it more. Because of this day, Burger Company added a whopping thrill to their menu – nothing else but awesome boardgames!
Gaming at Burger Company
We chose to play “Who’s Your Burger Boss?” Everybody starts with the basic burger: with the juicy patty, lettuce and tomato. The rest is up to you. So, here’s the deal: you get five workers (colored chips) each of which you can assign to the topping of your choice. The twist is that you’ll also have three kinds of abilities: TRANSPORT, REPLACE, and REMOVE.
Everybody’s eyes will be on that Double Bacon tile, so get ready to battle it out with your workers. You can even troll your friends into transporting them into their least favorite topping. 🙂 Good luck with your friendship after the game. Everything will be much more intense when food is on the line!

It’s that awesome. So, we decided to try the Munchkin Game. Francis Fabie, the co-owner of the joint was willing to teach us the game. Cool person right there. You can totally see his passion for boardgames and burgers. Glad it was translated into a gaming masterpiece resto like Burger Company.
After a few minutes of gaming, there goes our foooodddd. Look at that Double Bacon burger shouting, “Victory!!!” Unfortunately, it’s not mine. I blame it on Francis’ pro-ness on this one. 🙂
Well, it’s alright. It’s not entirely about my competitiveness but for the record, my burger was just as awesome anyway.
BIG, JUICY burgers right there! All their burgers are cooked Medium so you’re assured of its juiciness. I really loved the bacon jam and I really cannot stress enough how juicy the huge patty was. 🙂
They even have gloves for messy people like me. Not even a bit ashamed to post this photo because it’s a clear picture of how good it is!
Now, drool!!! I tell you, these bacon dippers are way too crispy not to try! Awesome, awesome, and awesome! All this food for carnivores make this place perfect for guys and barkadas to hang out. Imagine Board games+Huge Burgers+BACON. I doubt anyone could resist that.
Aside from that, their menu also offers more must-try food like buffalo wings. Another thing I’ve noticed is their friendly and honest staff. I stupidly left my phone on the table. It’s not the latest iPhone model, but it’s a smartphone containing all of my precious contacts nonetheless. As such, I was really happy to get it back. Honesty really means a lot!
The National Burger Day games will only be around for two weeks, so you’d better hurry. Here is a burger calling out and telling you that you need to try out Burger Company – STAT!
