It’s one thing for Filipinos to do a cover of a hit foreign song, and it’s another when they do a Filipino translation of it. But it’s an entirely different thing when foreigners do a cover of an English song… in Filipino. But that’s what happened when Jeff James, known as Hawaii’s Hitmaker, covered Pharell’s infectious song Happy, with Anna Rabtsun, a Russian. He even did a music video!

They changed some of the lyrics to reflect the Filipino culture, and it’s hilarious! Jeff James is known for doing Filipino covers, like Jireh Lim’s Buko, Bamboo’s Masaya, and Yeng Constantino’s Chinito.
