FMA will have a Live-Action Film Next Year!

The super popular anime series Fullmetal Alchemist is getting a live-action film, and it’s coming out next year!

According to reports, the film is scheduled for release on summer 2017, and Hey!Say!JUMP’s Yamada Ryosuke (the guy who played Nagisa Shiota in the live-action of Assassination classroom) will play as Edward Elric — the young, height-conscious state alchemist from Resembool.

The manga series ran from 2001 up until 2010, and has had two anime adaptations and two anime films. It also had a number of video games for various consoles.

Them epic fight scenes!

Personally, I’m excited to see how this live action will play out (Death Note’s live-action was pretty awesome), but I wonder how Alphonse would look like.

How about you? Are you excited for the live-action film adaptation of FMA?
