I bet to disagree. That is not Mang Alex. That’s Mang Alex’s nephew. The original Mang Alex had the prime spot across the church (always beside Mang Ben’s store for those 500ml softdrinks and Wonder Boys ;) ) and his (the true Mang Alex) nephew’s spot was further along JP Laurel going the direction of Nagtahan. ”Having said that” (a little Curb Your Enthusiasm reference), I’ve spent a better part of my allowance patronizing both depending where our driver parked our car.

I like it too.. sauce is sweet or sweet & spicy! :D careful though coz some might be dirty.

we love buying this squid balls in Odd Balls (a stall usually found in malls). Love their sauce too.

LOVE your video. I’ve been trying to find the sauce recipes. Secret, hu? That’s okay. I won’t have any problem figuring them out (^_^) I’m guessing you have more foodie videos. I will have to look for some more. Miss the Filipino food a lot. It’s one thing to eat Filipino food, it’s another thing to eat it in the environment you grew up in. Miss it all!

wow, I missed Mang Alex’s fishballs, best fishballs ever, especially the sauces! i used to buy 20pesos worth of fishballs after school. Then sometimes mix of hotdogs and quekquek(quail eggs) Hay… Come to think of it, it’s been 7 years since I graduated from SJCS. And 7 years since i last ate those fishballs! Hmmm…. I would surely, visit SJCS when i get back to manila, to eat fishballs! hehehehe… for those who haven’t tried it, highly recommend it, you’ll really love it!
