The First European Food Festival in the Philippines is Here!

This May 2017, the EU-Philippines Business Network (EPBN) is hosting the first European Food Festival in the country.

Throughout this event, participating restaurants around the Metro will celebrate European cuisine at its finest in line with Europe month, which also falls under the month of May.

Gourmets and food enthusiasts can expect to experience Europe’s authentic cuisine and unique dishes through special menus prepared by participating restaurants. These special menus will only be available for the duration of the European Food Festival (May 1 – May 31) and will use imported European ingredients.

Participating restaurants include: Balkan, Brotzeit, Carpaccio Ristorante Italiano, Caruso, Cirkulo, Cyma, Maria Luisa’s Garden Room, Restaurant 101, Oktoberfest 365, Paul Boulangerie, Poco Deli, Salvatore Cuomo, Tauro by Society Lounge, The Cafe Mediterranean, Wagner German Bakery.

By visiting these partners and ordering from the special European Food Festival Menu with a minimum price of PHP 400.00, guests can stand a chance to win exciting raffle prizes to be drawn on June 14, 2017, 4:00 PM, at the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines. Grand prize is a round trip to Europe for two and other raffle items are gift certificates from the restaurants.

This event is definitely a great opportunity for the Filipinos to taste the exquisite flavors of Europe right here in Metro Manila. Food is always a big part of a country’s culture and, through this festival, people would hopefully get to know more and appreciate them.
