Well, Filipino-American Bobby Murphy, co-founder of the app Snapchat, is estimated to be worth $1.5 billion, making him the second WORLD’S YOUNGEST BILLIONAIRE, according to a report by ABS-CBN News.
His partner, Evan Spiegel, is 24 years old, making him the youngest billionaire in the world.
Bobby and Evan made their fortune from Snapchat, a popular temporary photo messaging app. The report also says that according to Forbes magazine, Snapchat is currently valued at $10 billion, with 100 million users a month, in which both Bobby and Evan each have a 15 percent share.
Bobby’s mother hails from the Philippines, who emigrated to the United States and grew up in Berkeley, California.
The report says that Evan serves as the face of Snapchat, while Bobby is the brains behind the app, and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
The Snapchat founders reportedly met when they were students at Stanford University. Bobby took up mathematics and computational science, while Evan was a product design major.
