Fifth Freedom Film Festival

Team Communication, the official organization of Communication Arts and Organizational Communication Students of De La Salle University-Manila, will be having the fifth run of its annual event, Freedom Film Festival, with the theme of Resurgent Philippine Cinema.

Having held its November Series just last year that showcased 2016 Cinemalaya’s Best Picture, Pamilya Ordunaryo, and 2015 Cinema One Originals’ Audience Choice, Baka Siguro Yata, the said festival is back to introduce its February Series with a line-up of eight acclaimed films.

THURSDAY, February 16 (6-9PM) – 2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten

FRIDAY, February 17 (5-8PM) – Ang Taba Ko Kasi

THURSDAY, February 23 (6-9PM) – Si Magdalola at ang mga Gago

FRIDAY, February 24 (5-8PM) – Saving Sally

THURSDAY, March 2 (6-9PM) –  Baka Bukas

FRIDAY, March 3 (5-8PM) – Vince and Kath and James

SATURDAY, March 4 (1-4PM) – Seklusyon

SATURDAY, March 4 (5-8PM) – Patay na si Hesus

The films will be screened in the Natividad Fajardo Auditorium inside the Bro. Andrew Gonzales Building of De La Salle University—Manila. Aside from the screenings, an open forum will also be held with some of the cast and crew at the end of each film.

Open to outsiders, tickets can now be reserved at tinyurl.com/FFFVReservationOutsiders. Tickets are priced at P180, and P200 for door charge.
