FAILING FORWARD CONFERENCE 2016: CREATIVE SOLUTIONS MINDSET

Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is the world’s largest celebration of entrepreneurship with more than 10 million participants from over 160 countries on six continents.

During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to raise awareness in entrepreneurship. World leaders and local elected officials alike have embraced the GEW campaign. During 2015 alone, presidents and prime ministers from 20 countries supported GEW while 93 ministers from 54 countries participated by speaking at activities during the Week, filming statements of support or otherwise endorsing the national campaigns in their countries.

This 2016, the Young Entrepreneurs’ Society Philippines, the country host of GEW and its global theme “Failing Forward” is in partnership with Miriam College/Department of Entrepreneurship, A CHED designated Center of Excellence, which is also the UNESCO EE Net Philippine Chapter and its student organization, the Society of Junior Entrepreneurs (SJE), Quezon City, organized the campus student activities titled: “Creative Solutions Mind set”.

As such, YES Philippines presents Failing Forward Conference 2016, the highlight of the week long celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week in the Philippines. This forum engages young and seasoned entrepreneurs as well as the change makers for their insightful, inspiring or tipping point lessons from the challenges and adversities in dealing with the realities of ventures start-ups – as the mining process for success. Four successful startup founders and entrepreneurs from the traditional business to technology startup will be invited on stage to share their experiences to inspire and motivate.

This global affair takes the Philippines to an engaging gathering through: a) Festival of Student Start-up Exhibition and Fair; b)   Creative Solution Mindset Boot camps from idea generation through; creative resource and investment generation, and, c)   the Forum as the afternoon highlight.
