The pioneer in the amusement center industry, World of Fun once again brings the immersive theatrical horror house Bahay Trese in Sta. Lucia Mall Building 3 inside World of Fun. Now on its 3rd season entitled Ang Pagdurusa ni Geronima, which re-opened its doors last October 13, 2017.
The popular attraction features a haunted house believed to be the home of restless spirits from the series of massacres that happened in Manila during the Japanese occupation in 1945. During this time, homes were torched, men, women and children were murdered. Bloodshed everywhere.
This immersive theatrical horror attraction will surely lose the minds of its guests the moment they enter the house. Guests will be part of the whole theatrical horror play and are within breathing distance of the characters.
Guests will have a close interaction with a selfless house guide, a mentally-challenged lady and an evil-infested caretaker of the horror house. Guests will have to take a tour in all dark and cryptic rooms surrounded by scars and marks of sufferings exposed in intense horrifying audio, lighting and special effects. This interactive horror house requires sudden actions, decision making and full participation of the patrons.
Bahay Trese season 3 highlights the possessed lady in the previous seasons who is known as Geronima. Compared to last year, this season is a lot more frightening and more interactive as we have injected more scary effects that will surely add up to the immersive horror house experience. But definitely, our main character, Abraham aka Mang Abe, who is the mysterious caretaker of the house, is still part of the whole story for season 3.
Majority of the actors are trained and have attended workshops conducted by a well known leading theater organization. Others are members of theater guilds from prestigious schools. They’re trained to be sensitive to audience reactions and improvise if the situation calls for it.
More than just another horror house, Bahay Trese has strong elements of improvisation, storytelling, and problem-solving. Every season has a different storyline highlighting the unique angle of a specific character from the whole Bahay Trese main characters.
