WOW! If you haven’t heard of the Best Fireworks Display Competition called “The World Pyro Olympics,” then you have been missing out on life…!!!!
The World Pyro Olympics is definitely the best fireworks competition in the world! It’s held in the Philippines and it’s an event that highlights the best pyro technicians from different countries. It’s usually a five week event with two countries displaying their best firework shows on the Saturday of each week until the very last week of the event where the winners are announced. Furthermore, for the very last night, there is a multi-country fireworks show that is supposedly a friendship or unity symbol between the countries.
WhenInManila.com would like to thank THE Anton Diaz, of OurAwesomePlanet.com, for inviting us and hooking us up with the organizers of the event to get us our SICK Media Passes. Also, we’d like to thank Jay Singson of NuffNang Philippines for letting us crash at the NuffNang offices which had the SICKEST view of the fireworks from their building!
