After 22 years of marriage, Ewan McGregor and his wife Eve Mavrakis are divorcing.
According to PEOPLE, the 46-year-old Scottish actor filed the divorce on Friday citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the couple’s split. PEOPLE also reported that Ewan has asked for joint custody of their three children: Clara, 21, Jamyan, 16, Esther, 15 and Anouk, 6.
Meanwhile, PEOPLE also cited Eve’s response, which states that she is instead asking for sole custody with visitation rights for the actor.
PEOPLE also said that the document lists May as the date of their separation.
In October 2017, Ewan and Eve announced that they were splitting up following reports that Ewan was seen kissing his Fargo co-star, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, 33.
Mary Elizabeth also filed for divorce from her own husband, TV writer Riley Stearns, in May 2017 after getting married in 2010.
