Equinox 2: Dive Into Infinity – JPIA’s Best Party Yet!
Some people think that BS Accountancy (BSA) students do nothing but study. Well, the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) of De La Salle University (DLSU) moves far away from this stereotype. JPIA is known for bringing the wildest and most memorable parties in DLSU. Every party is a night never to be forgotten.
JPIA once again proved that they host the best parties in the university through Equinox 2: Dive Into Infinity which was held last March 21, 2014 at the Liquid Bar Pool and Lounge, Manila Ocean Park. More than 900 people joined the night full of water, foam and fun. The party goers were JPIA members, faculty, alumni and students from other universities. Truly, it was a successful year-end event for the organization.
Equinox 2 was a night where everyone washed all their worries away and partied into the night. It was a continuation of the successful Equinox party last year but made 2x BIGGER, 2x BETTER, and definitely 2x WETTER!! It was the comeback of a legend! The party was an early summer experience for the students of DLSU who needed to wash away their worries and stress from academics. The goal of the event was to celebrate the 59 years of service of the organization and to promote interaction between the members.
On the night of the party, random people were asked why they attended the event. Some of them went to de-stress themselves. Some wanted to have fun and enjoy. Some went due to the good feedback of their friends regarding the parties of JPIA. Of course, all of them had hopes of not being disappointed. Sure enough, they were not.
The party opened with a program that showcased the talents of the JPIA Artists’ Guild and the CSB dance group called Team Elite. The JAG dancers heated up the dance floor with their ‘Toxic’ number. The JAG voice performed a One Republic hit entitled “Counting stars”. The JAG photography covered the happenings of the event. After that, the exciting part started. As the foam began to spread throughout the area, so did the fun. Drinks and dances dominated the vicinity. The rest of the night was history.

Of course, the hardwork of the team behind the successful year-end party could not be forgotten. Equinox 2: Dive Into Infinity proved that future accountants really know how to throw a party. JPIA created not only the party, but also the memories that people will never forget. This showed that BSA students do not only study hard; they also balance this with partying hard.
After numerous successful parties, Equinox 2 truly is the best one for JPIA. It is the best one YET!! Everyone must watch out for the next parties of JPIA. There would definitely be more nights that one could only hope to be infinite!
