Epson Philippines holds Fusion 7, the Epson Media Adventure at the Siargao Bleu Resort & Spa. During the 3-day launch and adventure event, Epson gave an overview of the company’s achievements in the past year, as well as what is in store for the incoming fiscal year.
“We are truly grateful to all of you for helping communicate our activities, products & services, and advocacies last year. A year we consider a period of triumph as Epson attained the No.1 position in Projectors, Inkjet printers and Business System Printers,” says Toshimitsu Tanaka, President and Country Manager of Epson Philippines and concurrently the Managing Director of Epson Southeast Asia regional office, Epson Singapore Pte. Ltd.
The venue for the media thanksgiving event is in Siargao, well known for its most famous surfing destination, “Cloud 9”, with its heavy barrels that lure adventure-seekers from all over the world.
Adjudged by Travel+Leisure Asia as one of the “8 Ultimate Islands”, the tear-drop shaped island in Surigao Del Norte is where travelers are welcomed by an abundance of coconut trees and fine sand. Described as an “an island that defines laid-back”, Siargao presents many environmental and cultural gems, including vast mangroves, intricate rock formations and gentle, smiling locals. Proclaimed as a Protected Landscape and Seascape Area in 1992, Siargao is a haven and protective ground for endangered and at risk flora and fauna like the Pawikan and Philippine saltwater crocodile. Epson Fusion 7 guests were treated to a unique and exciting exploration of the islands to experience Siargao and its hidden gems.
A pioneer in advanced technology since its establishment in 1942, Epson also took the opportunity to give its guests a glimpse into remarkable gems of innovation beyond its mainstream product categories during the “Epson: Discover More” launch on Day 1.
“Epson has an expansive spectrum that goes beyond Printers and Projectors. As one of the leading digital imaging leaders, Epson is a pioneer in advanced products and solutions that have proven to be industry-changers. We hope to take this opportunity to showcase the rarely seen side of Epson for the company’s new and non-mainstream innovations. Here in Fusion 7, we will surely discover more with Epson,” concludes Eduardo Bonoan, Senior General Manager and Head of Marketing, Epson Philippines.
