Singer Yeng Constantino became a household name, essentially overnight, due to one particular song. You know, that one where she sings about holding hands and not letting go, whatever the circumstances. Admit it, you loved “Hawak Kamay” at some point, too. Besides that, she also had many other hits like Jeepney Love Story and Cool Off.

More than being a singer though, Yeng has also dipped her toes in the movie industry with her 2013 film entitled Shift along with Felix Roco. And now, five years after her debut on the big screen, she’s now starring with TJ Trinidad in the movie, “Eternity Between Seconds”.

Without spoiling us too much of the plot, Yeng tells us what the movie will be about. “It’s basically about two people who meet in an airport. Both have their own issues but they find comfort in each other,” she tells us. We were also warned about our expectations since, “it’s not that usual boy-meets-girl-in-a-random-place type of story. It’s much deeper than that.”

When we asked her about the difficulties in filming, she was quick to tell us that the weather in Korea was their biggest hurdle because it was very cold at the time of the shooting. She laughingly recalls her time in Korea, “With all honesty, nilamig ako at sobrang daming layers sa ilalim ng suot ko kasi grabe talaga. At least ako handa, si Kuya TJ (Trinidad) hindi.”

As in every movie, there’s that one scene that people tend to remember the best for a multitude of reasons. When asked about what scene stands out the most, she had this to say: “Para sa akin wala talagang ‘super standout’ scene kasi lahat talaga pinaghirapan namin. Pero kung kailangan kong pumili, siguro ‘yung eksena ko sa banyo na umiiyak ako. Ang hirap maghanap ng paghuhugutan, grabe.
